Luxury hotel chain Omni Hotel and Resorts has opened a new golf resort, named Omni PGA Frisco Resort in Texas, US.
Located next to the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) of America headquarters and 30 minutes north of Downtown Dallas, the golf-centred resort was built with an investment of $520m. It is expected to create 1,000 new jobs.
Developed in collaboration with PGA of America and the City of Frisco, Omni PGA Frisco Resort provides a one-of-a-kind experience to leisure travellers and golf enthusiasts from around the world.
The destination resort offers 500 luxurious guest rooms and suites as well as ten private Ranch Houses in four-bedroom configurations. Each Ranch House offers panoramic golf course views and a dedicated concierge, as well as upgraded amenities, high-end design and customisable VIP services.
Omni PGA Frisco Resort features two 18-hole championship golf courses, together called Fields Ranch. It also features a lighted 10-hole, par-3 short course called The Swing and a two-acre putting course and entertainment area known as The Dance Floor.
It offers 13 unique dining options, the PGA District entertainment, dining and retail hub and Omni’s signature full-service salon and spa, Mokara Spa.

In January this year, Omni PGA Frisco Resort vice-president and managing director Jeff Smith said: “Omni PGA Frisco Resort is an ambitious new resort concept for the state of Texas and in one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities.
“The sprawling complex will be a leading destination for entertainment, dining, shopping, wellness and golf-driven experiences that will be unparalleled for those who are advanced players, new to the game and everything in between.”
The resort is set to be home to the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship to be held later this month.
Furthermore, 26 additional championships are planned to be held at the resort starting in May through 2034 including two PGA championship events and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
