Peachtree Group has entered a long-term partnership with Michigan-based Group 10 Management, expanding its managed hotel portfolio by adding 14 new hotels, encompassing 1,648 rooms, to its operations.

The addition of these properties, including Marriott, Hilton, and IHG-branded hotels located in the metro Detroit area, propels Peachtree’s managed portfolio beyond the 100-hotel mark, reinforcing its status as a third-party hotel manager.

Peachtree’s hospitality management division is known for operating premium-branded hotels across various service levels, mainly within the upper-midscale and upscale sectors.

With the inclusion of Group 10’s properties, the division now oversees 107 hotels, spanning 27 brands and 13,485 rooms, in 27 states, including Washington D.C.

The Group 10 partnership increases Peachtree’s third-party management portfolio to 31 hotels.

The partnership is set to leverage Peachtree’s industry expertise, offering Group 10 benefits such as adherence to brand standards, scalable operating efficiencies, and effective talent acquisition.

Additionally, Peachtree will support digital and marketing initiatives, provide renovation guidance, and implement cost-saving strategies across Group 10’s hotel portfolio.

Peachtree hospitality management division president Vickie Callahan said: “Our extensive experience in hotel operations allows us to partner with Group 10 to take third-party management to a whole new level.

“A substantial portion of Peachtree Group’s portfolio is third-party managed, underscoring our commitment to driving strong financial results for our partners while providing exceptional guest experiences.”

Callahan added: “Peachtree’s expanded portfolio further emphasises its dedication to delivering high-quality service and operational excellence for partners and guests across the US.

In a separate development, Peachtree started construction on a dual-branded hotel development in Dallas, Texas, earlier in October 2024.

The AC Hotel and Moxy Hotel brands will introduce 264 upscale rooms within a 19-storey building to the McKinney Avenue corridor, with an anticipated opening in mid-2026.
