Preferred Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to enhance its global portfolio with ten new luxury property openings scheduled from September 2024 through to 2025.
The expansion includes diverse destinations such as a contemporary hotel in central London and a secluded island resort in the Caribbean.
Each property offers personalised activities, varied dining options, and local experiences tailored to urban retreats, countryside havens, and coastal escapes.
Preferred Hotels & Resorts chief executive officer Lindsey Ueberroth said: “We are excited to unveil these highly anticipated new openings, including two standout properties joining our prestigious Legend Collection, which represents the pinnacle of ultra-luxury hospitality.
“We can’t wait to invite travellers to explore new corners of the world and discover unique experiences through our newest properties.”
Preferred Hotels & Resorts categorises its properties into four collections: Legend, L.V.X., Lifestyle, and Preferred Residences.

Peter Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands launched on 1 December 2024, is part of the Legend Collection.
The resort features an infinity pool with views of Deadman’s Beach and the Falcon’s Nest villa offering panoramic vistas.
Its spa encompasses seven treatment rooms and outdoor relaxation spaces.
Royal Hideaway Corales Villas in Tenerife, Spain, launching in March 2025, will feature 139 rooms and suites. A wellness area and diverse culinary experiences are stated to become highlights of this property.
Launching in May 2025, ÓROS in Crete, Greece will feature guest rooms, suites, and villas with private pools. The resort will provide various amenities such as multiple dining venues, entertainment options, and a wellness centre.
The Newman in London is anticipated to open in mid-2025 with a design that reflects Fitzrovia’s spirit. The hotel will include a rooftop suite with a private terrace and a dedicated wellness floor among its amenities.
Romègas Hotel in Valletta, Malta is expected to open in June 2025. This restored palazzo will offer individually designed rooms and suites with Maltese balconies and a rooftop pool.
Recent openings also include Dusit Thani Bangkok in Thailand; Villa Dahlia in Stockholm; Pendry Natirar in New Jersey; Maison Albar – Le Victoria in Nice, France; and The Visions Resort & Spa in Florida.
In April 2023, Preferred Hotels and Resorts launched ten new member properties to its global portfolio, which included a chalet-style resort in the Austrian Alps and a 39-storey building in the NoMad district of New York City.
