US-based Preferred Hotels and Resorts has launched ten new member properties to its global portfolio.
The new properties range from a chalet-style resort in the Austrian Alps to a 39-storey building in the NoMad district of New York City.

Interalpen Hotel Tyrol in Telfs, Austria, is situated in the Austrian Alps at 4,200ft above sea level.
This secluded chalet-style luxury resort features 282 guest rooms, including 32 suites.
The property also includes a host of experiences in the alpine landscape, including seven dining options ranging from a gourmet restaurant to an alpine mountain hut, a spa, a panorama pool, infrared rooms, a Finnish sauna and also steam and saltwater baths.
It also features a seasonal programme of snowshoeing, hiking, sledging and mountain biking.

By GlobalDataUnder the L.V.X. Collection, the Virgin Hotels New York features 460 guest rooms, suites and penthouses.
The 39-storey hotel offers skyline views and comprises Everdene, a 4,000f² dining and cocktail option with nightly music and entertainment.
Other amenities include an outdoor Pool Club and over 19,000ft² of meeting and event space.
Marino Beach, Colombo in the Connect Collection is located in Marino Beach, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The property includes 289 guestrooms offering sea views and private balconies. It offers a complimentary city tour for the guests.
The hotel offers many experiences for guests including six restaurants and bars serving international cuisines, a spa and the Beach Lounge.
Hotel Villa Real 5* in Madrid, Spain is also under the L.V.X Collection and contains 115 guestrooms and suites. The rooms offer terraces with city views or private balconies.
Myriad by Sana in Portugal and Hotel Beausite in Switzerland have as well been launched under the L.V.X Collection.
Other member properties that joined Preferred Hotels and Resorts from 1 January through 31 March 2023 include Hotel Balmes 4* in Barcelona, Boho Club Marbella and Borgo Scopeto Wine and Country Relais in Siena Italy.
