Spanish hospitality group Princess Hotels & Resorts has opened two luxury all-inclusive properties in Jamaica, Princess Senses The Mangrove and Princess Grand Jamaica.

These are the company’s first resorts in Jamaica, situated in a cove on Green Island, close to the Caribbean Sea, and a 34-mile drive from Montego Bay Airport.

Princess Senses The Mangrove caters only to adults, featuring 401 ocean suites and 14 overwater villas with partial glass floors and infinity pools.

The villas feature finished balconies and terraces, some with swim-out pool options, and the Platinum Club suites provide guests with enhanced amenities and butler service.

The resort also houses 14 restaurants and 15 bars, along with a spa.

Princess Grand Jamaica is designed as a family-friendly resort to accommodate families, complete with an aquatic park, kids club, teens centre, nanny service, and various activities such as tennis and water sports.

The resort offers 590 spacious ocean-view suites, with special Family and Master suites for larger groups. Platinum suites are also available, featuring enhanced amenities and butler service.

The resort features three pools with water slides, eight bars, and nine restaurants.

Princess Hotels & Resorts general manager Enrico Pezzoli said: “Jamaica is the perfect place for Princess Hotels & Resorts to expand its offerings. Not only are the resorts beautiful, but they are built with intentional infrastructure to be as sustainable as possible.

“We have committed to local environmentalists to preserve the precious mangroves that our resorts are built around and will provide educational programmes for children about how the mangroves function.

“Additionally, we are completely self-sufficient with electricity, natural gas and water that we produce through wells, which provides a more consistent quality and ability to self-sustain in case of bad storms.”
