Radisson Hotel Group has revealed its plans to achieve a target of 100 operational hotels in the Middle East region by 2026, as reported by Zawya.
This was revealed by the hotel group at the Future Hospitality Summit 2023, who expects to have 150 properties either in operation or under development across the region by the end of this decade.
Radisson Hotel Group vice-president of development for the Middle East, Greece, Cyprus and Pakistan Elie Milky said: “As we strengthen our presence, we eagerly anticipate introducing exceptional new properties, from the strategic Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thakher East, set to redefine accommodation in holy cities, to our upcoming properties elsewhere in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as in Oman, Iraq, Jordan, Pakistan and Kuwait.”
Radisson Hotel Group plans to focus on Saudi Arabia and the UAE on the back of successful partnerships in the region.
Additionally, the group plans to expand into the wider Middle East region, covering Iraq, Oman and Jordan. It intends to develop over 90 hotels across its ten brands.
The company stated that it has seen rapid growth in Saudi Arabia, where its upcoming Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thakher East property in Makkah aims to target international as well as regional visitors.

By GlobalDataThe company is also planning for further expansion in Jeddah with the launch of Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thaker West and the Vivid Jeddah Hotel, which is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2023.
The Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Apartments and Riyadh Olaya North are scheduled to open in December 2023.
Additionally, the group has signed properties across Saudi Arabia in 2023, including the Radisson Hotel Jeddah Tahlia Street, which is scheduled to open in 2024 and the Radisson Blu Hotel, Hail, which is set to open in 2025.
The company has further signed four hotels and serviced apartments in Pakistan’s capital city, Islamabad.
In October this year, the hotel company plans to open two new properties in Oman: Muscat Levatio Suites and Radisson Hotel Muscat Panorama.
In addition to these openings, the agreements in Oman also feature Park Inn by Radisson Resort Bimmah and Radisson Serviced Apartments Salalah.
This year, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Amman Galleria Mall in Jordan is set to welcome guests.
Additionally, the hotel group has inked a deal for the Radisson Hotel & Residences Erbil, which is scheduled to welcome guests in Iraq’s Erbil city this October.
