Radisson Hotel Group has reported strong strategic growth across its portfolio in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in the first half (H1) of 2023.

The group noted that it has added over 8,000 keys across EMEA through signings and openings across different brands in important destinations, such as Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Nigeria, Italy, Germany, France, Greece and the UK.

Across EMEA, the important openings and signings include the signing of Radisson Blu Hotel, Abuja CBD; Radisson Blu Hotel, Rome EUR and Radisson RED Edinburgh Airport, as well as a new Radisson property in Ferrara, a Radisson long-stay property in Zurich and the opening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Santa Sofia Milan.

It also includes the signings of Radisson Residences Limassol in Cyprus and Radisson Hotel Mersin in Turkey, which is planned to open in H1 2024.

Radisson Hotel Group added more than 60 hotels to its portfolio in APAC, representing over 8,000 keys, in Thailand, China, the Philippines, Vietnam and India.

It has also more than doubled its portfolio in Thailand by signing seven new hotels in the last 12 months.

Key signings and openings in APAC include Radisson Hotel Ploenchit Bangkok in Thailand, a new Radisson RED hotel in Phuket, Radisson Resort and Suites Phuket and Radisson Resort and Spa in Hua Hin.
