US-based hospitality company Radisson Hotel Group has launched its upscale brand called Radisson in South Africa to further bolster its presence in the country.
The company debuted the upscale brand with the opening of Radisson Hotel & Convention Centre, Johannesburg, O.R. Tambo.
Radisson is the fourth brand of the company to debut in South Africa.
The new hotel is located in Bredell, around ten minutes’ drive from O.R. Tambo International Airport. It features 248 rooms for guests and is designed to host business conferences, private functions, and weddings.
The Radisson Hotel & Convention Centre, Johannesburg, O.R. Tambo also features restaurants, bars and a café, as well as a fitness centre, two outdoor heated pools and a spa centre with a salt room and four private treatment areas.

With the launch, Radisson Hotel Group now has 16 properties in South Africa including under development projects.

Last month, Radisson Hotel Group announced plans to open ten new properties in Saudi Arabia over the next one year.
