Radisson Hotel Group has opened its first hotel in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, offering a blend of Scandinavian-inspired hospitality and modern elegance.

The new Radisson Hotel Madinah boasts 165 well-appointed rooms, including 53 business units, to cater for both business and leisure travellers.

Radisson Hotel Madinah general manager Badr Abdulaziz said: “The hotel team and I are proud to welcome guests to the first Radisson-branded property in Madinah. We are fully committed to delivering world-class service to all our guests, whether they’re here for business, leisure, or as part of their Umrah trip.”

Guests at the Radisson Hotel Madinah can access amenities such as a lobby cafe, a full-service restaurant, and a poolside juice bar.

Madinah is one of Islam’s most spiritually significant cities and is also known as Al Madinah Al Munawwarah (The Enlightened City). It attracts millions of pilgrims a year who visit the Prophet’s Mosque, home to the resting place of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The hotel’s location outside the Al Haram area is 3km from the Prophet’s Mosque and 750m from Quba Mosque, the oldest mosque in Islamic history.

Additionally, the hotel is conveniently situated 16km from Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport and 10km from Madinah train station, offering convenient links to Jeddah and Makkah.

Radisson Hotel Group Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia Pacific COO Tim Cordon added: “The opening of Radisson Hotel Madinah marks a significant milestone for Radisson Hotel Group in our commitment to delivering upscale, innovative hospitality.

“Signed less than a year ago, this opening further demonstrates our dedication to rapidly growing our presence by successfully bringing our signed projects to life.”

Last week, Radisson Hotel Group recently expanded its operations in Kazakhstan with the inauguration of the Sadu Hotel in Almaty.
