South Korean travel technology company RIAD has introduced the AI-powered RIA 1.0 booking platform at the ITB Berlin 2025 travel trade show.

Designed to automate group hotel reservations, RIA 1.0 enables bookings by fully automating the process, catering to travel agencies and corporate clients with complex requirements.

According to a company press release, Riad states that the system’s ability to handle both direct bookings and customised group requests without manual intervention sets it apart from traditional reservation methods.

It significantly reduces the time needed for large-scale, multi-hotel bookings, completing tasks that typically take days in just minutes.

The AI-powered platform is claimed to have garnered attention with more than 300 booth visitors and 150 enterprise client sign-ups, indicating a start for Riad’s global expansion.

The live demonstrations at ITB Berlin showcased RIA’s AI engine managing various high-volume booking scenarios, with its “intuitive interface, seamless integration, and real-time responses” to specific needs such as corporate events, MICE bookings, and incentive groups.

Looking ahead, Riad announced its intention to expand RIA’s capabilities to include AI-based group flight booking services, aiming to transform the platform into a “comprehensive” solution for group travel, spanning both hotel and flight arrangements.

Already established in Southeast Asia with more than 800 enterprise clients, RIA aims to double this number to 2,000 by the end of this year.

Riad CEO Mike Lee said: “Meeting so many global partners at ITB Berlin was truly meaningful, and we are proud to showcase our technology to the world.

“We will continue to focus on R&D to deliver stronger innovations and achieve greater success globally.”
