Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin in Ireland, part of the RIU Hotels & Resorts chain, has completed a comprehensive renovation.  

The hotel, which is the chain’s oldest property dating back to 1817, now has 404 fully refurbished rooms, including 16 newly added ones.

Since acquiring the property in 2016, RIU Hotels & Resorts is said to have been expanding the room count and adding various updates. 

The four-star hotel now uses only green electrical energy, which is a part of RIU’s broader sustainability strategy, which includes a renewable energy transition plan. 

It also has the Writer’s Lounge bar, and two restaurants – the Gallery that serves breakfast, and Toddy’s Restaurant. 

Additional amenities provided at the hotel include 11 meeting and conference rooms, a fitness centre, and more.

The recently introduced properties consist of the family-focused Riu Turquoise and the adults-only Riu Palace Mauritius.
