Rotana Hotels, a UAE-based hotel operator, has signed a management deal for a five-star resort in Luxor, Egypt.
Set to open in the fourth quarter of the next year, Luxor Rotana will cater to leisure travellers looking to explore the historic part of Egypt as well as business travellers.
The 319-room property, which will be in close proximity to Egypt’s Nile River as well as several historical monuments, tombs and temples, will include 48 suites and a presidential suite.
It will feature four food and beverage outlets; a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a bar, and Rotana developed restaurant called Kamoon overlooking the Nile River and gardens.
Luxor Rotana will have tennis courts and a fully equipped gym for fitness enthusiasts.
The guests on business travel will have access to four meeting venues equipped with audio-visual technology.
