UAE-based hospitality management company Royal Crown Group has transitioned to Hotelogix’s cloud-based multi-property management system to modernise its operations and prepare for the growth of its portfolio.

This move allows the group to manage all five properties from its corporate office in Dubai, according to a media release by global non-profit association Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP).

Royal Crown Group, which manages a mix of full-service and limited-service hotels in Dubai and Baku, currently oversees seven properties.

With plans to expand, the need for a scalable and centralised management solution became apparent.

Royal Crown Group previously relied on a legacy server-based system that was not equipped to handle the company’s expansion plans.

The old system lacked the capability for on-the-go tracking of hotel positions and centralised control over operations, including access to a unified guest history and central-level reporting.

According to Royal Crown Group CEO Nauman Sami, the former system had various limitations, such as it failed to empower the company to track hotel positions on the go, which resulted in the decision for the IT infrastructure upgrade.

Nauman added: “We found Hotelogix to be the most advanced and matured solution for gaining centralised control over group operations, especially as we have plans for expansion in place.

“Faster onboarding of new properties is no longer a concern, as with Hotelogix, we went live within just two weeks with our existing properties minimising our overhead costs. Our two new properties will soon go live on Hotelogix.”

With its headquarters in Singapore and offices worldwide, Hotelogix is recognised as a leading provider of cloud-based hospitality technology solutions.

Its offerings mainly include a multi-property management system, Hotel PMS, and a Mobile PMS app catering to independent and hotel groups.

Hotelogix chief sales officer Sivaprasad Gangadharan said: “As their PMS partner, it is fulfilling to see Royal Crown Group operate efficiently and grow with us while staying compliant with local regulations.”
