India’s Royal Orchid Hotels Limited (ROHL) has adopted a cloud-based multi-property management system from Hotelogix.

This move is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and guest experiences across ROHL’s portfolio of over 100 properties, Hospitality Net reported.

By using this platform, the company seeks to support its growth plans while enhancing guest satisfaction and loyalty.

For more than ten years, ROHL managed its expanding number of properties with an on-premises system.

However, the company sought a technological upgrade as it grew from 20 to over 100 properties.

This transition to Hotelogix’s cloud-based platform aligns with ROHL’s need for a modern digital infrastructure that can support its rapid expansion and streamline management processes.

The implementation of this cloud solution is said to provide ROHL with centralised control over its diverse portfolio, promising more efficient operations and improved guest experience.

Utilising centralised guest history, the hotel group can personalise services more effectively.

ROHL employs data-driven strategies and values guest feedback, which informs their initiatives such as the Regenta Rewards programme.

The group is also exploring digital innovations such as self-check-in and guest service apps.

ROHL president Arjun Baljee said: “We are now in the process of centralising everything from our corporate office to implement and monitor brand standards while efficiently managing operations and serving guests better.

“With Hotelogix, our go-live process for new properties we’ve signed up for has significantly reduced. We’re now able to minimise overhead costs, and it’s much simpler to add a new property to our ecosystem with better control from our corporate office.”

“With Hotelogix powering our group-wide operations, we have taken a giant leap towards a redefined tech-first approach to run our enterprise with agility while staying competitive and attractive in the market and winning guest loyalty.”

Established in 2001 in Bengaluru, ROHL has become a significant player in the hospitality sector, with a presence in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

The group’s diverse portfolio includes business hotels, leisure retreats, and long-stay suites.

With plans to open 25-30 new hotels and launch a new five-star brand, ROHL is poised for further expansion.
