Safir Hotels & Resorts has signed a management contract with Hariri Building & Contracting Co. (HARCO Offshore) for a new five-star hotel in Erbil, marking its entry into Kurdistan, Iraq.
Hotel owner HARCO Offshore was represented by its board chairman Mostafa Al-Hariri while Safir International Hotels & Resorts was represented by its vice chairman and CEO Abdulaziz Al-Failakawi.
Al-Hariri said: “Our collaboration with Safir is built on mutual trust and their outstanding reputation for excellence in hotel management across the Middle East. Safir’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards and preserving owner assets, while delivering True Arabic Hospitality with a modern approach, makes them the perfect partner for this project.”
The hotel will feature 95 rooms and suites, designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers.
The property will offer modern accommodation, meeting spaces for events, wellness facilities, and dining options that showcase local and international flavours.
Strategically located in Erbil, the hotel serves as a hub for guests to discover the cultural heritage and business prospects of the Kurdistan region.
