Hospitality group sbe has launched Temple Detroit, a House of Originals hotel, in collaboration with developer Byzantine Holdings and its partners Christos Moisides, David Sutherland and Gretchen Carhartt Valade.
The $72m project is the first hotel to be signed after the debut of House of Originals concepte.
Temple Detroit, which is scheduled to open in June of 2020, will be designed by architecture firm McIntosh Poris Associates alongside Kravitz Design, Lenny Kravitz‘ interior design company based in New York.
It will feature 100 hotel rooms and 70 residential units besides a sbe restaurant and mixology / nightclub venues.

Byzantine Holdings partner Christos Moisides said: “Growing up in Detroit, I spent my youth in the bars and music venues of this colorful city. Living in LA for over a decade, the soul of Detroit called me back and has aligned me with this creative team, pooling our talents together to develop Temple, a House of Originals Hotel.
