Hospitality brand Selina has launched a new hotel in Thailand’s Phuket island, marking its first fully operational hotel in Southeast Asia.
Selina Serenity Rawai Phuket, which includes uniquely designed buildings, is situated in the village of Rawai in southeast Phuket.
With 52 rooms, the property offers a combination of ocean view suites, one- and two-bedroom apartments, private cabanas as well as shared-style accommodation.
Additional features include a beachfront pool deck, cinema room and common kitchen.
Furthermore, the hotel has spaces dedicated for relaxation and wellness, with provisions for wellness activities including beachside yoga, new and full moon gatherings and detox packages.
Guests can also access a 24-hour waterfront coworking facility with a private pool, a rooftop yoga and wellness centre along with an onsite beach club.

Selina plans to introduce community accommodation to the property later this year.
Aimed at particularly serving millennials and Gen Z travellers, Selina designs its properties in association with local artists.
The brand has more than 155 open or secured properties across 25 countries and six continents, in diverse sites including remote beaches, jungles, and cities.
According to Selina, the new property caters to “Thailand’s growing digital nomad community and area residents and visitors looking for alternative ways to stay, play and work.”
