The city of Kiryat Motzkin in Israel is set to welcome a new EuroDisney-inspired hotel, which will be named Eden Park.
The hotel is poised to be a family-friendly destination adjacent to the local zoo and theatre, according to a report by Walla! Tourism posted on The Jerusalem Post.
To be built with an investment of about €50m ($53.3m), the hotel will feature 120 rooms and promises to offer a unique experience for visitors.
Shatit Group has secured the construction rights for the hotel, following a successful tender by the Israel Land Authority (RMI).
The group has committed to an investment of NIS50m (€13.5m), in addition to the NIS4.5m paid for the rights.
The hotel will be situated on a 3.5-acre plot within the ‘Kiryat Motzkin Zoo Complex’ plan, which spans roughly 108 acres.

By GlobalDataThe location of the hotel is strategically chosen, as it is nestled east of the railway, west of Hahashmonaim Street, and south of the Mishkenot Omanim neighbourhood.
The placement is expected to ensure accessibility and synergy with the surrounding attractions.
Shatit Group owner Shalom Shitrit said: “The hotel to be built will have a unique concept tailored for families in the EuroDisney style. The hotel will be adjacent to the zoo and Motzkin Theater, providing a different experience for families.
“We intend to collaborate with the theatre to bring special shows tailored for children. We like to pioneer things, like the hotel we opened in Tirat HaCarmel, a wellness and spa hotel, which faced challenges initially but is now one of the successful hotels in the country.
“Additionally, we’ll create added value in terms of revenue. Currently, there is no hotel in the area capable of hosting conferences and events, and we plan to establish all the facilities for businesses. The hotel will also include a pool and a dedicated spa, both for weekend parents and for businesspeople staying midweek.”
The Shatit Group’s vision for the hotel includes Disney characters in each room and thematic holograms in the lobby and staircases, creating an enchanting atmosphere akin to a children’s ‘kingdom’.
The hotel aims to provide an immersive experience for guests, particularly catering to the needs and imaginations of young visitors and their families.
Shitrit continued: “We continue the pioneering spirit of building the country, from north to south, as part of renewal and a vision for a better future. Especially in times of war, it is most important to create new things, joy, and hope for the future. “Children are our future, and I intend to build a hotel that will be a paradise for them and call it ‘Eden Park’.”
