Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed two new Taj Hotels in the Kingdom of Bahrain, marking the company’s foray into the country.

The Taj resort in Hamala will offer 251 rooms and other amenities, including an all-day dining restaurant, two restaurants, a swimming pool, and an exclusive beach club.

This resort also features a gym, a spa and 1,200m² banquet facilities.

The Taj Hotel in Downtown Seef, Manama, will feature 200 rooms and a host of amenities, including a gym, spa, swimming pool, all-day dining and speciality restaurants, and an exclusive pool bar.

The Downtown Seef Hotel will offer additional banquet areas.

IHCL managing director and CEO Puneet Chhatwal said:  “We are pleased to announce two hotels in the island nation of Bahrain in line with our strategy of growing Taj’s presence in key gateway cities of the world.
