Sofitel New York in Manhattan, US, has unveiled renovation plans, expected to commence later this year.
This initiative coincides with the 60th anniversary of the Sofitel brand this year.
The refurbishment will cover the hotel’s 398 guestrooms, which feature 51 suites and the Presidential Suite.
This project will also see the renovation of the One Bedroom Suites skyscraper and the Terrace Suites.
Furthermore, the transformation will encompass the lobby level, meeting spaces, guest elevators, and corridors, with the public areas anticipated to be completed by late 2025.
The hotel’s current design, which merges Parisian Art Deco with 1940s Manhattan glamour, will be retained in the new designs.
