Travel marketing platform Sojern has acquired VenueLytics, an integrated guest experience platform for hospitality, to bolster its platform for the hospitality industry.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the companies.

The capabilities of VenueLytics will now become part of the Sojern Travel Marketing Platform.

This transaction will enable the Travel Marketing Platform to expand engagement across the complete guest journey through VenueLytics’ technology.

The technology includes artificial intelligence (AI)-powered virtual concierge, digital reputation management tools, real-time guest feedback and a guest marketing suite for email and text promotions.

With fewer resources, VenueLytics’ solutions provide support to the operations, marketing and front-desk teams to better serve their guests.

VenueLytics also provides the ability to engage customers in an expanded multichannel network including Alexa, ChatBot, Email, Facebook Messenger, Google Home, SMS, WhatsApp and WiFi, as well as other social media and third-party apps.

The acquisition will allow Sojern to expand into generative AI with advanced tools to drive and optimise booking value for hotels.
