Marriott International brand St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has entered Oman with the opening of The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort in Al Mouj.

Developed by Alfardan Group, the new resort has 250 guestrooms and suites, including one-to-three-bedroom duplexes.

Each room offers views of the ocean, golf course, or cityscape, alongside private balconies, walk-in wardrobes, and large bathrooms.

It comprises nine dining venues including Hakkasan, Em Sherif, COYA, Roberto’s, Novikov Café, Karibu, and Zorba.

Its Lounge serves St. Regis afternoon tea, while Sukkar offers a range of desserts.

The Stage, drawing inspiration from the King Cole Bar at The St. Regis New York, offers a selection of cocktails.

The resort has two ballrooms accommodating up to 1,000 guests, while the private beach and gardens offer settings for intimate gatherings.

It also features what is claimed to be the country’s first Guerlain Spa comprising 11 treatment rooms, including two exclusive couple suites, steam rooms, and saunas.

Additional amenities at the property include a gym, personal training, yoga sessions, multiple swimming pools, a private beach with loungers and cabanas, and more.

For families, the resort’s Family Traditions programme includes the Adventure Hub Children’s Club, a space for young guests.

Additionally, the resort offers the St. Regis Butler Service, which is said to have been a signature element of the brand for over a century.

St. Regis and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton SVP Jenni Benzaquen said: “The debut of the St. Regis brand in Oman marks a significant milestone as we continue to grow our portfolio of the best addresses around the world.”

This opening comes shortly after Marriott International announced its plan to convert three US-based luxury properties into brands within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio earlier this month.
