Hotel brand The Standard is poised to expand its presence in Southeast Asia with the opening of its Singapore hotel in the fourth quarter of 2024.
This opening follows the successful launches of The Standard, Hua Hin in 2021 and The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon in 2022.
Located on Orange Grove Road, The Standard, Singapore is a stone’s throw away from the UNESCO-listed Botanic Gardens and the bustling Orchard Road shopping district.
The hotel will be a product of a collaboration between Standard International’s in-house design team and the Ministry of Design, embodying a blend of Eastern and Western influences, reported BWHotelier.com.
This eight-floor property will feature 143 rooms, each boasting floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the pool and the verdant surroundings. The Standard, Singapore aims to provide guests with a tranquil environment, offering a garden space that spans the first and second floors, leading to the pool area adorned with art and landscaping inspired by the nearby botanical gardens.
Standard International executive chairman Amar Lalvani expressed enthusiasm for the new venture: “We couldn’t be more excited to open in Singapore. The city is going through an incredibly dynamic period and is emerging into an important global commercial, cultural and creative hub.
