The Victorian Country Manor House, which is known for being a prime wedding reception venue, has hit the market with a guide price of £7.97m ($10.48m).

It has a total of 59 ensuite bedrooms and is being offered on a long leasehold basis.

The property features function and meeting facilities that can accommodate up to 360 guests, addressing the requirements of both corporate events and private functions.

Christie & Co highlighted that the property is set within nearly 35 acres of grounds, including landscaped gardens and a one-acre amphitheatre, offering views over the South Downs.

The existing owners have identified several potential value improvement opportunities, based on the acreage of the location, currently subject to the receipt of planning consent.
