Cloud hotel property management systems (PMS) provider Stayntouch has collaborated with booking engine provider Skipper to enhance the efficiency of room sales for hotels.
The integration of Stayntouch’s cloud PMS with Skipper’s Booking Engine aims to facilitate higher-margin direct conversions by leveraging digital wallets and embedded shopping on hotel websites.
The technology provider further noted that Stayntouch PMS is designed to raise service standards for both independent properties and hotel chains.
It features advanced automation, comprehensive multi-property management tools, and an intuitive interface.
Skipper CEO Jason Shames said: “We are proud to launch our partnership with Stayntouch. Our integration allows properties to sell their available inventory more efficiently directly from the property management system.
“Owners will immediately notice a faster booking engine producing higher profits due to more direct reservations, greater system efficiency, and lower distribution costs.”

By GlobalDataSkipper’s configurable booking engine will complement Stayntouch by optimising conversions, simplifying cross-selling, and increasing direct bookings.
The integration will also allow hotels to provide a superior booking experience, stated Stayntouch.
This will include increased operational efficiency by centralising the management of availability, rates, and inventory.
The partnership promises a streamlined booking experience that keeps guests on the hotel’s website, with faster loading times and fewer clicks.
It also adds real-time fraud detection and an analytics dashboard for performance insights.
Additionally, the collaboration supports cross-selling activities and ancillaries, as nearly 48% of guests click to book a table through embedded dining reservations after securing a room.
Stayntouch CEO Jacob Messina said: “Optimising every distribution channel is paramount for hotels striving to enhance margins and drive profitability.
“Pairing Skipper’s ability to increase top-line sales with Stayntouch’s automated distribution functionality is a powerful force that allows hotels to maximise their revenue potential.”
Last April, Stayntouch expanded its alliance with Cedar Court Hotels in the UK, to enhance guest experience across four of the chain’s properties.
