Stayntouch, a cloud-based hotel property management system (PMS) provider, has rolled out ‘UpsellPRO’, a new upselling solution that aims to enhance hotel revenue streams.
This solution, integrated within Stayntouch’s cloud-based PMS, leverages attribute-based selling (ABS) and dynamic pricing to allow hotels to market individual room features and help guests during their booking process.
UpsellPRO, now part of the Stayntouch PMS suite, has been designed to significantly enhance the company’s existing upselling capabilities.
The new solution, which functions within the hotel’s current inventory model, can automatically price room features to optimise conversions, eliminating the need for manual pricing by hotel staff.
According to Stayntouch, ABS has been shown to boost upsell revenue by up to 23% by offering guests a variety of upsell options at different price points while enabling guests to customise their stay according to their preferences.
This results in increasing revenue potential for hotels within each room category.

This includes choices such as room setup, options for early check-in or extended stay, as well as other ancillary services.

Stayntouch highlighted that the new technology also enables the delivery of automated offers for room upgrades and amenities, along with monetised early check-in and late check-out options, all accessible via a guest’s smartphone or the hotel’s welcome kiosk.
Moreover, UpsellPRO provides detailed insights into guest preferences and price sensitivity, allowing hotel operators to use this data for analysing performance over time and understand the value and demand for each service, attribute, or amenity they offer.
