Swiss-Belhotel International has announced the rebranding of an upscale property in Surabaya, Indonesia, into the Grand Swiss-Belhotel Darmo, Surabaya, as reported by TravelDailyNews.
Situated at Jl Bintoro, the newly rebranded hotel marks the company’s expansion in the country and joins its existing portfolio in East Java.
This portfolio includes Hotel Ciputra World Surabaya, Swiss-Belinn Tunjungan, Swiss-Belinn Airport Surabaya, Swiss-Belinn Manyar, Zest Jemursari and Swiss-Belinn Malang.
Swiss-Belhotel International chairman and president Gavin M. Faull said: “We welcome the Grand Swiss-Belhotel Darmo, Surabaya to our global portfolio, acknowledging it as a premier upscale brand.
“This upper-upscale brand delivers a sophisticated blend of amenities for business and leisure travellers, with a strong force on providing highly personalised services within a tranquil and secure setting.”

Guests can dine at Grand Kitchen, situated on the upper ground floor, serving Indonesian, Western and Chinese cuisine, along with a selection of cakes and a breakfast buffet.

The hotel’s Darmo Deli on the ground floor offers daily coffee and pastries, while the Lobby Lounge and Bar serves a list of wines, cocktails, beers and spirits.
Other amenities provided at the property include a sky pool and a fitness centre on the 17th floor, as well as the Sangawan Spa and Massage on the 11th floor.
