The Taj Cochin International Airport hotel in Kerala, India, will officially be inaugurated by the state chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on 28 December as reported by The New Indian Express.
The five-star hotel is situated 500m from the terminals of the airport, also known as Kochi International Airport or Nedumbassery Airport.
The hotel’s launch follows a series of successful ventures by Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), the operator of the Kochi airport, including the 0484 aero lounge introduced in September.
This latest addition to CIAL’s portfolio features 111 premium rooms and suites, exclusive lounges, and signature dining options such as Vista and House of Ming, which provide guests with Taj’s renowned Chinese cuisine.
CIAL managing director S Suhas said: “Taj Cochin International Airport is yet another step forward in our vision to integrate world-class infrastructure and hospitality under one roof.
“With IHCL’s Taj brand on board, we are elevating Kerala’s prominence as a global destination for travellers while upholding our commitment to innovation and excellence.”
