
Belfast is set to welcome Europe’s first Tempo by Hilton hotel outside of the US as Hilton seeks to increase EMEA presence by an additional 50% in the next five years.
Tempo by Hilton Belfast City Centre has been signed as part of a franchise agreement with Loughview Leisure Group.
Upon its planned opening by the end of next year, the 144-room property is poised to transform a former office building into a destination for the modern traveller.
The property will feature a state-of-the-art fitness centre, alongside a variety of training options and hydration stations.
Accommodations at the Tempo by Hilton Belfast City Centre are designed for comfort and convenience. Guests can also access ‘Power Down’ relaxation features through a partnership with the Calm app.
Strategically located next to the Cathedral Quarter, the hotel will provide easy access to Belfast’s main attractions and transport links.
In addition to the Belfast project, Hilton’s expansion in the region includes the upcoming Marcus Portrush, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square, and DoubleTree by Hilton Derry-Londonderry.
These openings are set to double Hilton’s room count in the country and increase the number of Hilton brands from three to five by the end of 2026.
It has also planned further openings in San Diego, California and Tennessee for this year.

Earlier this week, Hilton signed a branding and management agreement with Wine Country Hospitality Partners for the Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country and Waldorf Astoria Residences Texas Hill Country.
