US-based Pebblebrook Hotel Trust-owned Viceroy Santa Monica hotel has announced the completion of its extensive $21m renovation.
The renovated property features newly designed guestrooms, suites with a Juliet balcony, common areas, outdoor space and Sugar Palm, a restaurant and bar that serves seafood and many cocktail options.
The hotel further includes amenities such as an indoor lounge, outdoor patio and a pool area with private cabanas.
Viceroy Hotels & Resorts CEO Bill Walshe said: “We are thrilled to unveil this stunning transformation of Viceroy Santa Monica, where our brand originally debuted.
“The renovation has reinvigorated this iconic property, infusing it with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic that celebrates our West Coast roots and pays homage to the property’s rich history. We look forward to welcoming guests to experience the elevated level of luxury, personalised service, and immersive experiences that define the Viceroy brand.”
US-based design studio EDG worked on this hotel renovation project. The firm had repurposed original materials and furniture to minimise waste.
