Hotel developer and operator Vision Hospitality Group has outlined a growth strategy for 2025, including the opening of five new hotels, breaking ground on four, and renovating four existing properties.

The group is poised to announce the ground-breaking of a dual-branded Hilton family hotel later in the year.

It also plans to introduce another dual-branded Hilton, a standalone Marriott, and a standalone Hilton hotel.

Five grand openings across the US states of Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina are scheduled for later this year, adding 713 rooms to the company’s portfolio.

Renovations worth nearly $8m are also set to be completed across four Hampton Inns and one Fairfield Inn & Suites.

By the end of the first quarter, 21% of the company’s portfolio will have been renovated over the past 18 months, with this figure expected to reach 37% by the end of the year.

Vision Hospitality founder and CEO Mitch Patel said: “Our momentum has continued as we approach the close of the first quarter of 2025.

“We look forward to enjoying a very active year.”

Last year, Vision opened new hotels and invested approximately $15.3m in refurbishing four of its Marriott-branded hotels.

Internal improvements have been made to the company’s technology platform and operational efficiencies.

Patel said: “2024 was particularly active for Vision, with strong strategic growth across our ownership and development divisions.

“Highlights for the year included opening three newly constructed hotels totalling 435 rooms, as well as completing approximately $15.3m in renovations across four of our Marriott-branded hotels.

“We also reimagined and reintroduced the Inn at Celebration to the Autograph Collection Hotel Portfolio. Internally, we continued to improve our technology platform and operational efficiencies, but most importantly, we doubled down on investing and creating growth opportunities for our people. Our goal is not to only attract great talent, but to continue providing an upward trajectory for our current associates.”

Vision Hospitality is also seeking strategic partnerships with other hotel ownership groups to bolster its expansion efforts.
