Wego, the online travel marketplace in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has rolled out a new business-to-business (B2B) accommodation platform called WegoBeds.
This platform has been tailored to meet the increasing demand for accommodation solutions within the region.
It serves as a bridge connecting Middle East hotels with Wego’s global partner network.
WegoBeds is also said to be the primary hotel supply source for Wego’s online travel agency (OTA) and corporate travel businesses.
It offers a comprehensive solution for B2B accommodation bookings, featuring real-time availability and competitive pricing.
It also leverages Wego’s expertise in the MENA region, providing both dynamic and static rates through channel managers and a dedicated extranet.

By GlobalDataThe company has assembled a team of hotel contractors in the Middle East to onboard new hotels onto the WegoBeds platform, as well as offer strategic advice and support to hoteliers regarding their global distribution strategy.
For travel buyers, WegoBeds is accessible via XML connectivity, opening up a spectrum of accommodation options across the MENA region.
Wego co-founder and chief hotels officer Craig Hewett said: “The B2B hotel market is relatively fragmented from a B2B perspective and there is a lot of new supply coming onto the market in the next few years.
“With WegoBeds, we see an opportunity to create a one-stop-shop for anybody globally who wants to sell Middle East hotels and who wants a best-in-class technology platform.”
In February 2024, Wego entered a partnership with the Malta Tourism Authority to boost awareness of the region.
