Riverbank Jungle Resort has entered a franchise agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to open a new hotel under the upper midscale Wyndham Garden brand in Nepal.
According to ETHospitalityWorld.com, the hotel is scheduled to open in 2024 in Patihani, in the Chitwan district.
This comes just after Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of Wyndham Grand Ijin Busan in South Korea last week.
Riverbank Jungle Resort chairman Deependra Joshi said: “The resort will have a great view of the Chitwan National Park and will give guests an oasis of calmness far away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities and allow them to connect with nature and mother earth.
“We are working with expert architects and consultants to deliver a truly international-class resort in Chitwan and look forward to welcoming guests to our resort by 2024.”
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts market managing director for Eurasia Nikhil Sharma said: “Our upper midscale brand Wyndham Garden is growing from strength to strength and we are excited to announce the signing of our first Wyndham Garden in Nepal at Chitwan.
