Sabre Hospitality, part of travel technology company Sabre Corporation, has unveiled a multi-year renewal of its partnership with US-based hotel franchising company Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
This follows the adoption of Sabre’s SynXis Property Hub, Sabre Hospitality’s property management system (PMS) by the hotel franchisor.
The integration of SynXis Property Hub with the SynXis Central Reservation System has provided a unified source of information.
This streamlines routine tasks and enables hoteliers to manage their properties remotely through cloud-native technology.
Migration of more than 5,000 Wyndham hotels to SynXis Property Hub was completed nearly one year ahead of schedule, with a record 550 hotels transitioning in a single month.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts chief commercial officer Scott Strickland said: “Completing this migration nearly a year ahead of schedule is a testament to the power of innovation and collaboration.

By GlobalData“Through our work with Sabre, thousands of Wyndham hotels now benefit from groundbreaking efficiencies, further enhancing their ability to serve guests and deliver great experiences.”
According to the technology provider, the efficiency of the migration process also reduced the expected downtime for Wyndham properties by 34%, minimising disruption to their daily operations.
The success of the project has been attributed to strategic initiatives and the cooperation between the teams at Sabre and Wyndham.
A system infrastructure upgrade increased the daily migration capacity from 15 to 35 properties.
Furthermore, the implementation of a new discrepancy reporting process eliminated the need for preliminary dry runs, accelerating the transition and reducing potential downtimes.
Sabre Hospitality Enterprise Sales SVP and global managing director Gene Guhne said: “This project was about much more than just technical migration; it was about transforming the operational backbone of thousands of hotel properties to better meet the needs of today’s hospitality market.
“The scale of what we’ve achieved—in terms of both numbers and the speed of implementation—sets a new benchmark for the industry.”
