Accor opens two new hotels in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

The two hotels are ibis Yogyakarta International Airport Kulon Progo and Novotel Yogyakarta International Airport Kulon Progo.

Hospitality group Accor has announced the opening of two new hotels in the city of Yogyakarta, in the Kulon Progo region of Indonesia.

The two hotels are ibis Yogyakarta International Airport Kulon Progo and Novotel Yogyakarta International Airport Kulon Progo.

Accor CEO of premium, midscale and economy divisions for Asia, Garth Simmons, said: “We are excited to celebrate the grand opening of Novotel and ibis, two esteemed Accor brands, in Yogyakarta, Kulon Progo.

“Our commitment to providing exceptional service and creating memorable stays is now on full display, offering our guests an unmatched experience from the moment they arrive.”

ibis Yogyakarta International Airport Kulon Progo has 224 rooms featuring Sweet Bed by ibis and design elements inspired by a design concept by The Plaza.

Guests at the property can dine at the all-day dining restaurant called ibis Kitchen, as well as enjoy quick bites through the Grab&Go service.

Additionally, it offers a kids' corner for families travelling with children and a web corner for connectivity needs.

Novotel Yogyakarta International Airport Kulon Progo offers 194 modular rooms, including suites featuring the Novotel brand’s signature LIVE N DREAM beds.

The hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Food Exchange, serves both international and local cuisine. The ‘eight bar’ offers bites and drinks to guests, who can also enjoy the scenic views of the Menoreh Hills.

Signature coffee and various dishes are served through a 'Grab and Go' concept at the lobby’s Gourmet Bar.

It also hosts conferences as well as social gatherings at its event venues, including the Falcata ballroom and nine meeting rooms.

Other amenities provided at the hotel include In Balance Fitness and Spa, an outdoor swimming pool and a kids' pool.

The two hotels are a five-minute drive away from Yogyakarta International Airport and the Airport Train Station.

The hotels provide guests easy access to the city centre and a range of tourist spots, including Borobudur.

Additionally, the hotels are part of Accor’s lifestyle loyalty programme, called ALL - Accor Live Limitless.
