Accor has announced a partnership with EBU Estate Developers for the development of the Sofitel Jaipur Jawahar Circle, a new luxury hotel slated to open in 2028.

The new hotel aims to enhance Jaipur's hospitality landscape and support the city's tourism growth.

It will be strategically located at Jawahar Circle and is set to feature 275 rooms, four restaurants and bars, and more than 5,000m² of event space.

The Sofitel Jaipur Jawahar Circle is poised to become a significant addition to Jaipur's luxury hotel offerings. With 275 rooms, the property will be designed to provide comfort and elegance. It will also boast extensive meeting and banquet venues, catering to the city's growing demand for high-end weddings and events.

Jaipur's status as a key tourist destination is expected to be bolstered by the hotel's French-inspired luxury and diverse gastronomic offerings. This aligns with the city's inclusion in the Golden Triangle tourist circuit, renowned for its cultural and historical attractions.

Accor CEO Sébastien Bazin expressed excitement over the partnership, highlighting the Sofitel brand's commitment to delivering French art de vivre to Indian travellers. Bazin also outlined Accor's expansion plans, with 30 new properties expected to open in India within the next three to five years.

The hotel's facilities will include swimming pools, a spa, a fitness centre, a kids' club, and ample parking. Its MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) capabilities are designed to host up to four large events simultaneously, reinforcing Jaipur's reputation as a prime MICE destination.

EBU Estate Developers representative Vikram Sukhani said: “We are committed to delivering a flagship Sofitel hotel that exceeds expectations and sets new standards of luxury in Jaipur.”

The partnership with Accor is seen as the start of a long-term collaboration aimed at developing multiple high-end hotel assets.

The Sofitel Jaipur Jawahar Circle will join other luxury properties in Accor's India portfolio, such as the Fairmont Jaipur and the upcoming Raffles Jaipur. Accor's strategy includes expanding the Sofitel brand in major cities and introducing new collection brands such as Emblems and MGallery in the region.

Last December, Accor expanded its India presence by signing agreements for two new properties in Bengaluru with Varun Hospitality.
