Hospitality group Accor has unveiled a new extended stay concept under the Novotel brand in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Novotel Living Bangkok Sukhumvit Legacy property is expected to cater to travellers looking for a "home away from home", regardless of the duration of their stay.

It has 207 studios and suites with separate living areas targeting families, leisure travellers, and corporate guests.

It also includes Mexican restaurant El Santos, communal spaces, a free-form swimming pool, a fitness centre and a kid’s club called Playtopia.

The property is located on Sukhumvit Soi 29 offering access to transportation hubs, including Asok and Phrom Phong BTS Sky Train Stations, and Sukhumvit MRT Station.

It is also within proximity to local urban culture, Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, shopping complexes and a forest park.

Accor Asia Premium, Midscale and Economy division chief operating officer Garth Simmons said: “Novotel Living reflects the evolving way we travel and live today.

“Bangkok, with its vibrant urban culture, is the perfect destination for extended stays. As a leader in the global extended stay serviced apartments and private rentals segments, Accor is excited to bring this home away from home experience to the city.”

Novotel general manager Richard Grandis said: “We believe in creating spaces that resonate with our guests' desires for connection, relaxation, and enjoyment, however long they stay.

“Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every stay is special, and we look forward to becoming a preferred destination and your home away from home in Bangkok.”

Before this development, Accor expanded its partnership with Singapore-based hotel operator Worldwide Hotels Group to launch Mercure Hotel in Singapore.

At present, Accor has more than 5,500 properties spanning more than 110 countries.
