Hospitality software company Actabl has announced the launch of its two-way integration between Alice, a hotel operations management platform, and Transcendent, an advanced asset management and CapEx platform.

This is intended to optimise hotel operations, and enable real-time cross-departmental collaboration between front of house, housekeeping, and engineering to manage guest requests efficiently, boost guest satisfaction, and get key operational visibility and accountability.

The integration, designed for ease of use, allows both teams leveraging Alice and engineers depending on Transcendent to collaborate and communicate seamlessly within their familiar systems, thereby removing the requirement to learn new technology.

Due to optimisation of workflow processes between teams, the integration immensely reduces guest request resolution times, boosts productivity and bolsters teams, thereby leading to cut down in overhead expenses.

Furthermore, progress can be tracked in real-time, enabling Alice teams to have enhanced visibility to optimise operating costs and Transcendent teams to gain insights into capital planning processes.

Actabl senior vice president of technology and delivery Anu Sharma said: "We are thrilled to introduce the two-way integration between Alice and Transcendent, representing a significant milestone in our mission to empower hotel operators to provide outstanding service through integrated solutions.

"Making guests happy is at the forefront of everything hoteliers do, and this integration allows them to resolve issues swiftly so they can focus on providing elevated experiences and ultimately increasing guest loyalty."

Actabl is developing a platform for hotel intelligence and operations management technology to improve customer experiences and make product improvements.

The firm has grown its team capacity and rolled out new measurement tools to speed up implementation timelines.

Actabl CEO Steven Moore said: "We prioritise our resources to ensure our software suite enhances our customer's day-to-day operations, growth, and ongoing success. Bringing Transcendent and Alice closer means more than streamlining operation processes to increase efficiency and cost savings.

“It means streamlining operation processes to improve the work day for front of house, housekeeping, and engineering teams so that they can focus on providing great hospitality.”

Actabl caters to the technology requirements of over 12,000 properties in hospitality markets across the world.

Demand for upscale and luxurious products has been rising steadily in the travel and tourism sector

The theme of premiumization, and the upscale and luxury markets, now have the opportunity to thrive in an industry that has had to rapidly change to meet new changes in traveler demands. The increased need for privacy, a greater focus on health and wellbeing, a desire to tick off ‘bucket list’ experiences, unintentional saving of money, the tendency to take longer trips, the focus on eco-tourism, and an increase in millionaires means the theme of premiumization will continue to grow in importance. The travel industry will experience a surge in demand for higher-end and customized offerings as experiential consumption keeps growing. For many, ‘premium’ means a variety of things. However, it refers to first-rate service, extreme comfort, and one-of-a-kind experiences in travel and tourism. Premiumization is closely linked to luxury travel. While premiumization attracts only a small number of global travelers, it is important for companies as it is a valuable revenue stream that is unlikely to be impacted by external factors like economic downturns. Personalization is key in premium offerings, the shift from focusing solely on premium products to an emphasis on delivering exclusive and personalized offerings is apparent. Therefore, smart destinations can help to create hyper-personalized services and products. Leveraging the Internet of Things, destinations can curate offerings based on gathering real-time data on guest preferences and behaviors. This enables the industry to transcend typical offerings and remain competitive.
