US-based hospitality group AIC Hotel Group has unveiled AVA, a new luxury resort brand, with plans to open the inaugural property in Cancun, Mexico.
AVA Resort Cancun, the brand’s debut property, will launch this summer.
This five-star à la carte resort will be a 1,743-room oceanfront property, incorporating a coastal aesthetic that embodies the waterfront lifestyle.
Designed by Boris Pena Architects, AVA Resort Cancun will offer panoramic ocean views from every guest room, suite, and villa.
It will also feature the 2.8-acre AVA Bay, which utilises sustainable Crystal Lagoon Technology.
The property, located ten minutes from Cancun International Airport, offers a range of amenities.
Among these are over 17 dining concepts, including global cuisine from award-winning chefs, a teppanyaki grill, a traditional Mexican street food cantina, and a five-star French restaurant. The dining experiences were developed by HKB Design.
The resort also features a variety of bars and craft cocktail lounges, such as an NFT Bar and a speakeasy, as well as casual eateries and snack bars.
In addition, AVA Resort Cancun will house 22,000ft² of wellness facilities along with a large spa, fitness space, pickleball courts, and beauty amenities.
AVA Resort Cancun will also offer several nightlife venues, highly curated kids and teen clubs, and experiences suitable for travellers of all ages.
AIC Hotel Group sales and marketing vice president Ash Tembe said: “As the travel industry continues to rapidly evolve, we knew that our next project needed to seamlessly bridge the last few gaps left in the all-inclusive market.
“AVA Resort Cancun does just that by bringing the most memorable aspects of a vacation to one place, coupled with some of the most exclusive experiences and programming that a luxury resort can offer. It really is a playground for vacationers of all ages.”
