Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, the international unit of Aimbridge Hospitality, has been appointed as the operator for Wyndham Grand Residences in Batumi, Republic of Georgia.

This move represents the company's expansion in the EMEA region.

The Wyndham Grand Residences Batumi Gonio complex, owned by European Village, is set to open in early 2025.

It is currently under construction and will feature several hotels.

This includes the Wyndham Grand Residences Aqua Batumi Gonio; the Wyndham Grand Residences Family Club Batumi Gonio; and the Wyndham Grand Residences Riviera Batumi Gonio.

These properties will be part of one luxury segment complex, offering all-inclusive and ultra-all-inclusive services.

The technical services agreement for the developments was signed in 2022.

European Village Holding general director Archil Partenadze said: “We are immensely proud to introduce the first hotel complex of this scale. Partnering with Aimbridge, the global leader in independent hotel management, is a great honour for European Village.

“The collaboration between Aimbridge and Wyndham Grand, the pinnacle brand of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, brings world-class hotel services to Georgia. This partnership represents a significant milestone in advancing high-end tourism and hospitality in our country.”

The Wyndham Grand Residences Gonio complex will provide a range of accommodation options.

Wyndham Grand Residences Aqua will offer one and two-bedroom suites and duplex family rooms.

Wyndham Grand Residences Family Club will feature studios, apartments, and duplexes while Wyndham Grand Residences Riviera will have three-bedroom townhouses, apartments and duplexes.

Aimbridge EMEA divisional president David Anderson said: “The three Wyndham Grand Residences are all within 900m of each other, stretching from the beautiful coastline and up into the hillside behind, and offer a variety of different accommodation options to suit families, couples and individual travellers.”

Guests at the complex will have access to eight restaurants, cafes, and bars, including a rooftop lounge and bar, and an adults-only rooftop restaurant/café within the Riviera residence.

The complex will also offer coworking spaces, 150m² of conference space, and a boardroom.

Other amenities include kids' clubs and water sports facilities.

A fitness floor with group classes, a yoga room, and a physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre are also planned.

The complex aims to maintain year-round occupancy with 90 infrastructure facilities.
