AirAsia MOVE has partnered with SiteMinder to expand the selection of hotels and accommodations available to travellers on the latter’s platform.

This partnership will enable AirAsia MOVE to access SiteMinder's hotel customer base in Asia.

SiteMinder's clients will also be able to provide additional value-added deals, such as Snap, a flight-and-accommodation travel package, to AirAsia MOVE users.

AirAsia MOVE chief commercial officer Tan Mai Yin said: “We are excited to partner with the long-time leading brand name in hotel technology, both in Asia and globally, to offer hotel operators a more holistic approach to selling their rooms.

“At a time when the number of travellers seeking package deals is increasing, partnering with a business like SiteMinder, that has such a well-established customer base throughout Asia and globally, will allow more hotel businesses to meet this growing need.”

AirAsia MOVE aims to expand its hotel offerings in addition to flights through this collaboration.

The partnership aligns with Airasia MOVE’s strategy to sustain rapid growth amid increasing travel volumes across Asia.

SiteMinder Asia Pacific market vice-president Bradley Haines said: “Airasia MOVE is a well-known and established brand throughout the Asian region, which makes this new offering compelling to hotels and travellers alike.

“Through its platform, which allows consumers to not only book flights, hotels and rides but also shop for brands and search for the best deals, AirAsia MOVE has demonstrated its ability to adapt to evolving consumer needs. This aligns well to SiteMinder’s strategy of helping hotels create an incredible experience for their ever-changing guests.”

SiteMinder is a software platform that helps hotels boost their revenue.

Prior to this development, SiteMinder and Cendyn formed a partnership to enhance their revenue management capabilities, benefiting over 70,000 hotels.

In September this year, AirAsia Superapp underwent a brand refresh and is now known as AirAsia MOVE. It operates as a travel platform business.

Generative AI can improve personalized healthcare by collecting data from patients via wearable devices. These wearables can provide continuous, real-time data that can complement traditional data sources such as imaging, patient records, and more. Generative AI tools can also help healthcare professionals make more accurate diagnoses by finding abnormalities that a healthcare professional may have missed. It can also enhance existing imaging techniques by generating high-quality images of organs using data from low-resolution images (such as ultrasounds).
