Amritara Hotels and Resorts has expanded its portfolio by acquiring the Hidden Land hotel in the Indian state of Sikkim, marking its 18th luxurious property.
The property will be rebranded as Amritara Hidden Land, enabling Amritara’s entry into Sikkim. It is expected to cater to nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers.
Amritara Hotels and Resorts vice-president of commercials Sarvar Hans said: "We are delighted to welcome Hidden Land to the Amritara family. This merger is a testament to our commitment to providing our guests with the best possible experiences.

Amritara Hidden Land is said to align with the brand's ethos of sustainable luxury. Its opening is scheduled on 1 July 2023.
Amritara Hotels and Resorts is a boutique luxury hotel chain, with a footprint in diverse landscapes across India. This includes a presence near Himalayan peaks, Goan beaches, Kerala’s backwaters, as well as wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka.
The brand’s properties offer spa facilities along with yoga retreats and wildlife safaris, among others.
Amritara was recently also in the news for adopting STAAH’s distribution technology platform to streamline its online booking experience.
According to ETHospitalityWorld.com, the platform has resulted in an 83% growth in the brand’s revenue.
