Minor Hotels subsidiary Anantara has opened Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort in the UAE, marking a new chapter in eco-luxury travel.

Nestled on a private peninsula with golden sands and natural mangroves, the resort is claimed to offer an exclusive and tranquil setting complemented by the Hajar mountains and the Arabian Gulf.

The 174-room resort boasts a variety of accommodations, from contemporary guest rooms and suites in the main building to traditional riads.

Each room is a blend of sophistication and locally inspired design elements, offering views from private balconies or terraces.

Anantara Mina Al Arab also introduces what is claimed to be the emirate's first overwater villas, complete with private plunge pools, expansive decks, and a dedicated Villa Host service.

Guests at Anantara Mina Al Arab can indulge in a range of culinary experiences across six restaurants and bars.

The signature restaurant, Mekong, takes diners on a journey through Asia while Beach House offers a taste of Mediterranean coastal cuisine.

The resort also features an all-day dining restaurant, a gourmet deli, a pool bar, and a lobby lounge and bar.

Leisure facilities at the resort include an infinity swimming pool, a fitness centre with mangrove views, a padel court, and a yoga pavilion.

For younger guests, there are kids’ and teens’ clubs, alongside a variety of recreational activities for all ages.

Signature experiences such as hiking on Jebel Jais, kayaking in the mangroves, and luxury cruising with sunset dinners enhance the guest experience, stated Minor Hotels.

Minor Hotels CEO and Minor International Group CEO Dillip Rajakarier said: “We are proud to launch our luxury Anantara brand in Ras Al Khaimah, which is the brand’s ninth property in the United Arab Emirates.

“We are confident that the new resort will be well received by the market and will help with the continued growth and positioning of the emirate as a luxury tourist destination.”
