Hotel group Andras House has bolstered its portfolio by acquiring the ETAP Hotel located on Belfast's Dublin Road in Northern Ireland, UK.
The property, featuring 146 rooms, was sold for £7.35m ($9.31m) in a deal facilitated by CBRE Northern Ireland (NI), who advised the seller, and CBRE Hotels Dublin.
Andras House was advised by Cushman & Wakefield McCombe Pierce partner Robert Toland while CBRE NI senior director Gavin Elliott advised the seller.
Gavin Elliott said: “The ETAP Hotel is well-established on the Dublin Road and is leased to Accor UK Business & Leisure Hotels Limited for a further 6.5 years.
“This transaction underpins the strong interest we are currently experiencing in the Northern Irish Hotel sector and represents another successful sale by CBRE NI and CBRE Hotels Dublin.”
Andras House’s portfolio includes the Crowne Plaza Belfast, Ibis Coleraine Riverside, Hampton by Hilton, Holiday Inn Belfast City Centre and Ibis Belfast City Centre.
It also has Marcus Hotel, which is an 83-bed facility currently under construction in Portrush.
Spanning six floors, ETAP Hotel offers facilities such as cold continental breakfast options, a bar and free fibre Wi-Fi, among others.
The hotel is a five-minute walk from the Belfast Central train station and is accessible to nearby locations such as Titanic Quarter, Belfast Cathedral, shops and restaurants.
It also offers guests the option to visit attractions such as the Titanic Museum and Studios, City Hall and Botanic Gardens.
Toland said: “35 Dublin Road is an excellent investment for Andras Hotels and makes a superb addition to the group’s ever-growing portfolio.”
The latest acquisition comes after five of Andras’s hotels attained silver accreditation through the Green Tourism programme last November.
