American hospitality management provider Aperture Hotels has bolstered its portfolio, adding 12 new properties across the US, over the past 12 months.

This expansion includes a diverse range of hotels from Florida to California, featuring brands such as Hilton, Marriott, and IHG, alongside independent establishments like the Hotel Spero in San Francisco and Clair Tappaan Lodge in the Lake Tahoe Area, Nevada.

The company's growth includes a Voco soft-brand conversion, four Hampton Inns, two Holiday Inn Express hotels, a Fairfield Inn, a Tru, and other independent hotels.

Aperture Hotels president and CEO Charles Oswald said: “We have enjoyed strong, steady growth over the past 12 months and plan to continue this trajectory moving forward. Our pipeline remains robust, and we are on track to announce another new deal in the next few days.”

“The hotels greatly expand our geographic reach, with a half dozen in Tennessee, two in Texas, two in California, and one each in Florida and Wisconsin.

“This creates greater economies of scale for our owners, as well as the ability to share relevant best market practices for our regional and general managers, all ultimately providing better financial results and stronger guest satisfaction scores.”

Aperture Hotels also claimed that last year marked a “banner year” with notable improvement in market share, profit margins, guest experience, and employee engagement.

It reported a 3% growth in the revenue generation index (RGI), a 5% increase in profit margins, and a 36% improvement in brand top quartile ranking for guest experience.

Additionally, there was an 18% enhancement in employee engagement and retention, indicating a strong year for both customer satisfaction and workforce stability.

To support this growth and ensure effective operational execution, the hospitality provider has strengthened its corporate team by appointing several new executives over the past year.

These appointments include Sarah Garcia as commercial strategy senior vice-president, Alyssa Quezada as commercial strategy vice-president, Taylor Hall as operations vice president, Andrew Reichert as hotel accounting senior vice president, and Christina Hollis as operations regional director.

Oswald added: “We have been extremely fortunate to compile a phenomenal team of experts with more than 600 hotels worth of combined hospitality operations experience.

“Our latest moves greatly expand our commercial strategy, accounting and property-level operational capabilities. Sarah, Alyssa, Taylor, Andrew and Christina are at the top of their individual fields, and we look forward to their direction as we continue our nationwide growth plans.”

Last October, Aperture and Satori Collective completed a multi-million-dollar revamp of Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta/Perimeter Centre in Atlanta, US.
