A new tech partnership will fuse STAAH’s online distribution technology with Archipelago International’s vision to operate best-in-class hotel properties.
Archipelago International is Southeast Asia’s largest privately owned hotel management group with 45,000 keys, more than 350 hotels and clients in more than 200 locations including the Caribbean, the Middle East and Oceania.
New Zealand-based STAAH specialises in cloud-based channel management and booking engine for accommodation providers.
The alliance will boost Archipelago’s plug-and-play solution to increase leads and revenue for its clients. The plug-and-play service follows an audit and fix process with the aim of improving online connectivity for all its clients and converting every connected channel into a revenue-generating machine.
Archipelago president and CEO John Flood commented: “Driving better revenue through automation and innovation has been a core principle for us.”
STAAH commercial director Tarun Joukani added: “Today’s traveller is highly tech-savvy and seeks seamless connection from booking to service. We are confident that we will bring more of these travellers to the doorstep of Archipelago-managed hotels.”
Brands owned by Archipelago include ASTON, ASTON Collection Hotels, Alana, Huxley, Kamuela, Harper, Quest, Hotel NEO and favehotels.
In 2022, the company expanded its Cuban portfolio with the opening of the Grand Aston La Habana hotel in Havana.
