Luxury hospitality company Auberge Resorts Collection (Auberge) has been appointed to manage the new Cambridge House hotel in Mayfair, London.

The historic property opposite Green Park at 94 Piccadilly is expected to open in late 2025. The site was previously the In and Out Military Club, a private members organisation founded in 1862.

The 102-room Georgian mansion is a Grade 1-listed, Palladian-style townhouse commissioned by the 2nd Earl of Egremont in 1756. Following its reopening it will retain a private members' club, and draw on British interior design.

The property will have an open-air courtyard, a brasserie-style restaurant in its Georgian ballroom and a double-level spa fitted with hydrotherapy facilities, two heated swimming pools and seven treatment rooms.

Cambridge House is part of Reuben Brothers' £1bn regeneration of 1.3 prime acres of the Piccadilly Estate, including the residential development of One Carrington and Shepherd Market.

The announcement comes as Auberge reaches a point of strategic expansion in urban and European markets. The company is set to open hotels in Florence, Italy, in Santorini, Greece, and three properties in the US to add to its current portfolio of 28 hotels.

In February 2024, Auberge received investment from US merchant bank BDT & MSD Partners to further its growth.
