Hospitality company Banyan Tree Group has announced its rebranding to the name Banyan Group.
Banyan Group has doubled its brand portfolio since 2019, across locations such as Vietnam, China, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates.
With a presence in 22 countries, the Group currently manages 12 global brands, more than 60 spas and galleries, 75 hotels and resorts, and 14 branded residences.
Banyan Group has a pipeline of properties, with 19 new properties and residences scheduled to open in South Korea, Cambodia, China, Japan, Vietnam, and Mexico by 2024.
Among the list of properties is Angsana Tengchong which marks the company’s fifth property in the Yunnan province of China.
Meanwhile, the first property in Cambodia will launch with Angsana Siem Reap.
The list also includes Banyan Tree Veya Valle de Guadalupe in Mexico, Angsana Tengchong in China, and more.

In line with its founding ethos of ‘embracing the environment, empowering people,’ Banyan Group is dedicated to sustainability.
In 2024, the company aims to align with United Nations Climate Science-based Targets and develop a 2030 Sustainability Roadmap.
The company will also initiate a circularity pilot project.
In addition, the company will launch Laguna Lakelands in Phuket, a nature-integrated development spanning 110 hectares.
This project will feature treetop skywalks, a rainforest park, and six distinct zones.
To enhance guest experiences, the company will launch a digital companion called Beyond and with Banyan, an experiential members programme.
