Full-service hospitality management company Brittain Resorts & Hotels (BRH), alongside EOS Hospitality, has launched a $58m renovation project across three Myrtle Beach properties in the US.
The properties include Caribbean Resort & Villas, Ocean Reef Resort and Compass Cove Resort.
The renovation project began in October 2024 and is expected to conclude by April 2025.
At Caribbean Resort & Villas, a $20m makeover has revamped the Dominican and Cayman buildings with contemporary coastal designs.
The refurbished lobby and new "Grab & Go" market are set to provide guests with a “welcoming” atmosphere and “convenient” dining options.
Ocean Reef Resort has received a $15m facelift, updating all towers with “sleek” guest rooms and revitalised common areas.
The most substantial portion of the investment, exceeding $23m, has been allocated to Compass Cove Resort.
The refurbishment at this hotel encompasses every building, offering guests upgraded rooms and redesigned communal spaces.
Brittain Resorts & Hotels chief marketing officer Patrick Norton "Myrtle Beach is rapidly transforming into a destination known for elevated and unforgettable experiences, and we are proud to be part of that evolution.
"Our goal is to offer the quality standards and reliability of branded hotels with the distinctive charm and extensive amenities of independent resorts. This approach ensures we deliver a truly unique and unparalleled experience that reflects the best of what Myrtle Beach has to offer."
Despite the ongoing work, all resorts will remain operational to ensure guests can still enjoy their holidays with minimal interruption.
Last June, Brittain Resorts & Hotels partnered with payment network Affirm to provide flexible payments for hotel guests.
By selecting Affirm at checkout, approved guests can book accommodation and pay on a monthly schedule of up to 18 months – also known as buy now, pay later (BNPL).
