Coast & Country Collection has sold The Highland Hotel in Inverness, Scotland, to Singapore's Buxani Group.
Christie & Co, a specialist hotel property adviser representing the Coast & Country Collection, facilitated the sale.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
The property will be managed by Compass Hospitality, a company with operations in Bangkok and the UK.
Last November, Compass Hospitality strengthened its partnership with Seacare Hospitality through the acquisition of The Dilkhusa Hotel in Ilfracombe.
The Highland Hotel is situated on a 2.2-acre site in Strathpeffer, near the NC500 route.
It offers 134 bedrooms, a bar and a restaurant.
Compass Hospitality president and CEO Harmil Singh said: “The Highland Hotel is another significant addition to our fast-growing portfolio, showcasing the Scottish highland’s unique charm and heritage.
“We look forward to continuing our growth and commitment to the UK hospitality market.”
Christie & Co’s hotel team director Gary Witham said: “We are delighted to announce the Highland Hotel is joining the Compass Hospitality managed portfolio. The Scottish Highlands remain a key tourist market with strong buyer demand and the hotel is ideally positioned to capture the steady leisure and coach business.
“The hotel is one of the 33 assets put to market as part of the Coast & Country portfolio. The properties have received very strong interest to date, and a very limited number of these assets remain available, so we invite any interested parties to get in touch.”
The latest deal comes just after Complete Hospitality acquired the White Rose Hotel in Askrigg, in a deal also brokered by Christie & Co earlier this month.
Post-acquisition, the 12-key hotel is to be rebranded as The Middle House, Pub | Dining | Hotel.
